when ever you are running your generator add a bottle of fuel stabelizer durring last tank and your carb will not gum up. I use it in chainsaw and lawn mowers always, and equipment always starts. be safe during storm time.

Greatest product ever for reviving small engines is Sea Foam. Works on everything. engines can even run on it alone. Dump some of that in the gas, in the carb, then spray with starting fluid to get it to turn over.

Have extra food and water Darci. All the time. You never know what might happen. You need enough for 2 months on hand all the time. And really that isn't much if something really bad happened. Stay safe!

hey Brian drop the fuel bowl own your generator you probably got water in your carburetor and next time run your generator until it runs out of fuel make sure you turn the fuel valve off

One last thing put all your food in the freezer and the frig in plastic bags in case the power goes out and the food goes bad its easer to clean up.

Not to scare you but make sure if you have to get in your attic because of storm surge comes in put bring an ax are chainsaw with you.
