Funny story, in my most recent video we stopped by a rig that is notorious for holding Cobia (we call them Ling, and the rig that we stopped at is referred to as the Ling Rig. It was noticeably absent of Cobia so we moved on to another spot. When i posted the video a local guy popped into the comments talking about how he had a lot of success getting Cobia off that rig every day for the past week. Basically he fished it out before we got there (Had a good laugh about it. Just thought I'd share. we went through that and then i hopped on here to get caught up on my YT'ing and saw your Cobia vid.

Last summer I took my 19 year old daughter out for her very first saltwater fishing trip. she caught a cobia of around 30lbs. It was by far better than having me catch a keeper, although I did. Cobia is one of my favorite eating fish and great fun to catch. Where I live, near mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, the best method of catching the man in the Brown suit, is to sight cast for surface fish. Chumming catches more small sharks than Cobia.

Love your VLOG! I have a merchandise suggestion for you both. You can get a bunch of your best still-shots together like you have in your calendars and sell them also as 500 and/or 1, 000 piece jigsaw puzzles. My dad is retired and does lots of jigsaw puzzles for fun! You could get them made for you and sell them in your website store! Best, Jim in Maine.

Just love your fishing videos Darcie. Everything from where to go, how to rig, catch, clean, fillet, prepare and cook. I have a question for Brian. Where did you grow up on Long Island? I'd love to catch up with the 2 of you when I visit my buddy in Port St Lucie!

You guys are cute but your videos have become redundant. Do something crazy. Do something that's unique to your sensibility. Involve friends and family. Get wasted on the boat. Say something interesting! Give it a try!

Perpendicular lines are lines that intersect at a right 90 degrees angle. You meant to say 'lay the fish down parallel to the cooler'
