blend lots of ginger, fresh turmeric, lemongrass, shallot, onion, chilli if you want it hot and then simmer it all, and then put in the stringray, add salt, some sugar if you want is a bit sweet, that will remove any smell and also enhance the taste

We eat these cooked and pickled raw. A tip for eliminating any fishy taste or residual ammonia smell/taste is to soak it overnight in milk prior to cooking. One of my favorite fish to eat.

if u get a leather hole puncher and punch out 12 stingray circles then put them into egg yoke, seasoning, breadcrumbs then deep fry them they taste like a scallop. try that

Up where I live in NJ the fishery in Cape-May commercial catches a lot of Skate and ships the catch to Europe. Its Big in Europe.
