When I was six years old I moved to Maryland. We lived in a house on the St. Mary-s River called cherry Fields. I learned a crab and was very successful at a very young age. It was fun having our own beach. I could fish and they were always otters. My mom would say go get a dozen crabs and I would be back in 20 minutes. I would just walk in the water and scoop them with a net Or I would be lazy and use a chicken neck on a piece of string and pull them towards me. It-s great that you hang out with your family. It-s something that kind of eluded me throughout my life. I-m 57 with no children and I am looking for a family.

Love to watch your videos. I raised my son on my own from the time he was 4. Teaching him the values in life and nature by fishing hunting crabbing oystering clamming. I lost my son last year at 31 years old a month before his 32nd birthday. Thank you for all the wonderful adventures bringing old wonderful memories back to life! It helps me cope with the tragic loss I have experienced. Keep up the great work May Godbless you and your family and friends!

Not trying to sound critical and I think what you are doing with your son is great. I do the same with mine all the time. But that's not how you cook or clean crabs. And old bay is a northern thing not what is used in the south. Them crabs must have been so bland and probably tasted like straight water. I was reading the comments and can't believe people actually eat them like that. No crab boil or any seasoning, better you than me buddy. Lol

Nice videos, I'm getting into it now with my son I see that you near by. You think il be able to find some by Boynton beach intercostal? And what you think would be the best way to keep them live once we catch some to get them home? We will be bringing cage down from boat docks. I'm a bucket with saltwater or cooler with ice pack? Bally, 6in mullet, small blue crabs. like a lil 30lbr one I can land hug snap release. you are extreme sportsman. in all depts. Gabe got Most Game I-ve seen in long time. Kudos Bro

I wonder if he-s putting any of the money he makes from the videos with his boys into a savings account for them so they have a nest egg to get his boys started in the real word when they-re of that age. Seems like a great father teaching them well. Edit: I say that as a 23 year old so I-m still a bit young.

In Western Australia we are only allowed to use collapsible dilly drop nets; so the crabs have to be in the net when you pull them up. So you have to check them regularly. This prevents over-fishing. Similar eating here; not much seasoning, it's butter and vinegar
