Eat them things. biggest cause of small ponds that get stunned to where bigger size bass are skinny and poor is there is too many small 1 pound bass in there that devour everything. like 1/2 inch to 1 inch bluegill and other bait fish that normally a 4 or 5 pound bass will not waste there time chasing them.

Largemouth bass are my favorite freshwater fish to eat! Big bluegills are second and crappie are 3rd. There's nothing wrong with taking out 1-2 pounders to eat. It actually helps the bass population to eat some here and there. Ponds and lakes get stunted when you catch and release every bass

I had my first bass today and it was amazing. I think it depends on the individuals taste pallet. I tried a fillet with salt and pepper and another one breaded. The unbreaded was better and I thought it taste better then walleye. Still want to try different fish including small mouth.

All I can say is if you're going to eat Bass make sure you eat the ones that are like under a pound and a half 2 lb and they're not very healthy but if you can't catch one that's like not very healthy go ahead take a couple small ones just please don't take the bigger fish

I've never had Largemouth or Spotted, but I've had Smally and they are fantastic. Crappie is bland IMHO, so I save them for sport. But bass. bass is fine dining. Just be sure to properly vocalize the -b- in bass, when you proclaim that you eat it.

-it can be sport fish all you want it to be but people like us are going to eat them- best words I ever heard, I been eating largemouth bass since I was a kid probably the first fish I ever ate and the best one to me.

It's not a bass lure, but my favorite lure that works for all small fish is a silver and blue Kastmaster. It works for basically anything. Great lure. I would use it as my only lure for the rest of my life gladly.

Large or small mouth I live in Oregon so we don't have but those two kinds. flour garlic salt lemon pepper and Lowry's season salt, pan or deep fried. some french fries and yum yum.
