Shakespear was my first rod at 15 years of age! I've caught literally thousands of fish with it, and now 35 years later, still catching fish with it! Now I bought an 8 footer only 4 years ago, and have caught 48 inch, 52 inch muskies with it! UGLY Sticks are the ONLY RODS I FISH WITH!

Pink snapper in Australia Gabe aka - pinkie. Not bad eating I personally don-t think much of them when they get over 7 or 8 kg. When borders open Gabe you gotta head over to north Western Australia for episode. Best fishing and spearing on earth. Collaboration with YBS perhaps be epic

My absolute second favorite fish on Earth followed by various tuna species. But on my grill if it isn't something sushi worthy or lightly seared I can make about anything in the ocean over some pilaf or other rice make me happy as the next one.

This is one of my faves of yours Gabe. Great fish and well documented. I had not heard of that runner but would love to catch me one. I only get down to FL about three times a year for fishing but it's always a blast!

I live on the northern California coast, I do a lot of bluff fishing, the only pole I will use is an ugly stick. I live in Gala la CA. you guys should check it out some time? O yeah, nice fish.
