HOW TO Catch Clean & Cook -WILD ORGANIC SHRIMP- - Bluegabe Calvin: We built a 6 foot long by 4ft wide and 4ft deep cage out of conduit wrapped in 3/8 inch mesh wire, with one 6ftx4ft side open and we put weights on the side we want to stay down, and we hang it down into the water at culvert pipes that has strong current during the tide changes, and it catches every shrimp that gets pushes into it. It only works when the current is moving pretty fast because the pressure of the moving water is what pins the shrimp in the back of the trap and keeps them from getting away.
It works great, we've caught up to 50lbs in about 6 hours. We fish while we have it set out because we don't leave it, I'm not sure it would be legal to leave it unattended.

Oh, the patio, I forgot about that. And you are certainly a Luck guy. Better snatch her up. Oh man I wanted to see the patio. I got side tracked and haven't seen it yet. Ah, good I did hear the M word.
So you are both so adorable I can't stand it. I can say that because I'm old. You guys stay safe and happy.

We shrimp in 1- or so on the flats by Fort Desoto park. Wear ahead lamp drag a 5 gal bucket with a pool noodle into the current. Use a homemade trap with a door Pick them up 1 or 2 at a time. Usually fill 1/2 the bucket in 2 hours. Sweetest shrimp ever. Also good for the soul when you-re out there

I just ate shrimp the other day and was getting so frustrated trying to peel the shrimp while eating it! I wish there was a way to peel them both uncooked and cooked easily. The way Gabe shows definitely is a good method but still is so tedious

Awesome Guys! ! You were at Le-Feis = now known as Oak Hill fish camp. That's my territory - from Railroad Bridge
to River Breeze. Shrimping is doing OK around here but hope it picks up. Have a nice day. Love ya'll's videos.

Try throwing the blanched asparagus with garlic in the oven on broil for about 1-2 minutes with Parmesan on top. it-s a game changer! As a single father myself, I love watching your videos with my son! Best wishes from Georgia!

I would love to have 50 degree weather right now. If you guys find that cold you should come up here to Ontario it-s only 24 degrees today and that-s a warmer day this time of year!

My Pit Boss Pro leaves grill marks on everything that touches the grill. You and I season just about the same, and yep Old Bay is my go to fish, scallop and shrimp seasoning.

You don't need none of that to catch shrimp. I use a 2x4 and a home made net. No net catch em during the day. All I see is a yuppy pavement princess with fancy gadgets.
