
Fried Coconut Crusted -LOBSTER- Bites with a Pi-a Colada Sauce (Catch Clean & Cook) - Bluegabe

Thank You BlueGabe for your Wonderful Creation! I've listed out your Recipe for all to use. I hope you don't mind BlueGabe-
Step 1) Prepare Lobster: -
Cut Lobster shell down the middle of the back and remove meat-
Cut off -RED- part that's a thin strip of tough meat then cut into 1x1 inch chunks-
Sprinkle Garlic Salt (or powder) over chunks of Lobster -
1 Cup Flour in Zip-lock bag and add Lobster, mix well and set aside for at least 10 minutes-
Step 2) Make up the Dipping Sauce: -
in Iron Sauce pan over medium heat -
1/2 Stick of Salted Butter-
1/4 Cup Pina Colada mix-
Bring to Boil and add 2 Tbs Malibu Coconut Rum (or to taste)-
Add 1 Tsp Fresh Garlic-
Cook for 4 to 5 Min to boil down mixing every minute -
Pour into Dipping Dish and set aside-
Step 3) Prepare Coconut Coating: -
Take 1 Cup of un-sweetened Coconut Flakes and chop it up or use a mini food processor to chop-
Mix in 1 Cup of Panko into Coconut-
Dip Lobster into Buttermilk and then Panko/Coconut-
Heat oil to 350- then place coated Lobster into hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes on each side until golden brown-
Serve right away-

I know I'm preaching to the quire here, do you believe what they got away with years ago! no steel! or! wire mesh in that driveway. Just like Old Naples fl. many moons ago. I am Florida since 1953. I was a commercial Stone Crabber till pouched out of business. That said I think You and Your Family amazing and much respect for Your goodness and love of Florida Waters and Family. I am not religious like You but I do believe in Spirits that bring joy to Life. I hope you guys see this, the plant that ms Betty n luke was tearing out its called Circe its a medical plant from Jamaica, you boil n drink it to clean toxins out your blood and stomach, ps its very bitter but the orange fruit on it is very tasty, -bluegabe -islandkey, also if it grows in ypur yard it means you're good at -.

Just a small cooking tip. Get that Siesta Key Rum they got it in Coconut too. It's on a whole other level of Rum, they really raised the bar. Once you try it you'll understand why I say Malibu and Parrot Bay is for tourists. It's made in Fort Desoto too.

-The weeds with the orange pods- You can boil the leaves and make a tea out of them. Just use a lot of sugar. It cleanse your system. My Stepdad from Barbados use to make it all the time. Not the best smelling bush in the world, but it's good.

Those bush that are called weeds are bush medicine we drink in the bahamas called cerasee. Take some down with you when you go back to the bahamas and ask a bahamainn to identify it. It has has some great benefits.

hey bluegabe how come the lobsters you catch don't have the crusher claws and the pincher claws? are they more of like a salt water crayfish? up here in Canada i am use to seeing lobsters with the two huge claws.
