On a completely different tack, I-ve watched a lot of American catch & cook videos ie, you and dmfd, your children-s table manners are great, but why do we never see table knives when you eat a meal? In the uk they are an essential part of a set table. please don-t take this as a criticism, it-s purely an observation ----

Gabe, I have caught flounders on wrecks, and many times I have found them schooled up there. I haven't done any free diving in 20 + years. Do you ever spear them in deep water? It would be a cool video for sure.

Gabe, I dont like seeing bloody cuts, so keep away from fast filleting, your body, family and friends will thank you for it. I know you done it a thousand times before, but there is a first time for everything.

I was filleting one night in the dark and cut my finger completely off, the only thing holding it on was a piece of skin. The doctors were able to attach it back, but I have no feeling in it.
