Hey take ur reel apart and clean the grease out of the anti reverse bearing and put just good reel oil in it, they freeze up with the grease had a Lew's bb1 and and machll do that, two different reels two different years sent the machll in came back fixed never did it again, told the guy this year had the same problem with the bb1 that's when he told me to do that instead of sending it in, you can put it in the freezer for 30 minutes or so to test it to

I live no more than 30 minutes away from Lake Simcoe, but I do not own a boat. 99. 5% of Simcoe's shoreline is private, and only about 20% of the public shore fishing spots are actually decent. I feel so jealous watching this video. I can't believe I can't get the full potential of the fishing from a lake I live so close to just because I don't afford a boat. My biggest from shore was a 2. 3 pounder. Really freaking wish I had a boat.

I'm from Florida, so my knowledge of smallmouth is limited to videos. Are they only in big water? I can't recall seeing anyone catching them in a pond or small body of water other than a river. Open for anyone to answer.

Got a chance to fish with Taro in the land of the Giants and we caught at least 20 smallmouth and mostly where 7 pounds+, Evan though we fished with minows we still needed to figure how to get them to bite.
