Slippery Dick, Trigger Fish and a Monster Great White Shark! (Catch Clean & Cook) - Bluegabe

I think I would have been messing myself at the sight of such a massive shark like that great white, if I was in the water. Saw one while in the Navy in 1971, when I went out on one of our Fast Fleet Tugs, with our Ops officer, towing targets for for the destroyers to shoot at. It leisurely swam past us, we were doing about 12knts streaming the target almost mile behind us, and it looked to have been about half the length of the tug, actually it was less than a quarter the length of the 205 foot long tug. I was just a 19 y/o, out in the deep ocean, about 30+ miles from shore for the first time, so it looked absolutely humungous.

As a 10 yr old boy snorkeling which my family my older brother was in the boat with mom looking in the water with his mask getting ready to get in, he sees this 6ft long Cuda, sits up looks at my mom says well he's gonna be flying in the boat any sec! Before she could say why, I was already in the boat and wasn't even nowhere near it! Coarse dad hears all the commotion comes up sees everything's good then goes looking for it to spear it. - looks at me and says why didn't u shoot it u had the spear gun! Can't imagine what I'd done seeing that. Definitely wld be in the hospital with the Benz from coming up to fast!

You are right, Gabe! Many of us would love your knife outtakes, lol! Surely ya-ll don-t use all of those? I was just in FL two weeks ago for my sister-s bday (Venice) and encountered a pulmonary embolism? Some scary stuff, let me tell you! Loved seeing Venice for the first time, but didn-t like having tO spend 6 days in ICU. watching yours and Kelly Young-s clips certainly eased the passing of time until I could get back home to TX. Keep them coming, you REALLY don-t realize how easy you make many of your fan-s lives. Great stuff. But maybe keep the white shark experiences for separate clips, lol?

Finally got to your video Gabe and it was something. Now. I must admit if I had seen that Great White I would be still cleaning out my divers suit or putting them in the trash. I have been close to two mountain lions. One on a 20 ft. ridge across the Powder River in Colorado when I was a kid and one in Oklahoma when I was bow hunting. The one in Oklahoma was pretty close and I don't think I took a breath till he was pretty far off. Either way it reminds me to never let your guard down. PK

Talking about double-dipping, I see you and Robert often take a bite of food, then serve someone a bite of food on the same spoon, they lean to get the bite, it drips down into the pan of the rest of the food. I get a little bit creeped out, the dripping bothers me since its gonna get served to someone else. But I think of how I cook for my family, tasting the food while I cook, doing the same thing. I think if its family, I am not worried. I don't do that with friends. much. Hahaha!

WORLD RECORD TITAN TRIGGERFISH Adults can grow up to 75 cm in length and the World Record for a line caught specimen is 5. 3 kg. This specimen was 53. 46 cm in length so a full grown specimen would weigh more and the record in the Philippines is 7. 5 kg OOPS I typed this before I saw they looked it up oh well LOL

Angler here in need of some help. I live on the golf coast of Florida near fort Myers and Naples area. I don't have a boat so I fish from the shore. I have caught nothing the last month and it's hard for me to get out cuz I work and go to college Does anybody know any good spots I can fish from shore this includes you bluegabe it's grouper season and I want to catch a grouper thanks -

sharks sneaking up on me is the only reason i DO NOT GO IN THE OCEAN. i've had a black bear walk behind me while camping with my dad, brother and best friend and all i could say was BEAR BEAR BEAR, and they all thought i was a skipping record then they saw it too. and all he did was just start digging in the trash because someone put a dirty diaper in there.

Wow! Wonder if the GW is -Lucy? - Lucy is GPS-tracked going to the edges of the gulf stream and into the Gulf of Mexico all the way up to New England. Not many VID's capturing a white shark under the water off the Florida Coast. Cool and scary at same time.

What a awesome day -. The fish soup looked amazing, did watch ware the lobster tails came from. Kelly made the comment about the a/c turned on, well we received 8- of snow some my furnace is running. Keep up the great videos between the two of you. Be safe.
