Another great video, thanks.
I have to ask what you think is the best eating fish? For me, you can't beat Haddock. I have a friend who runs a fish and chip shop in Doncaster and he tells me he cant sell Haddock because all his customers ask for Cod. To me Haddock flesh is much more delicate and tender, it tastes much better than Cod, which is a bit chewy for my liking.

Quality Catch. How did you cook it when you got home? Wrapped in Foil oven baked with Fresh grated Lemon Zest, Lemon Juice, Butter fresh dill. and Fresh garlic Puree? Ever had the FPV Minna come along side you when you've been out fishing? I've seen her head down the Clyde a few times. was just wondered if she's ever been down your neck of the woods

John you are a star! Really enjoyed the simplicity of this presentation and how you show that we need to throw back the undersized or less usable species to let them grow and reproduce. I worry about the countries that scrape the seabed clean of species to extract the popular and dispose of the undesirable, dead back in the ocean. Love your message x

From all the vids I-ve seen Cornwall could be a million miles from where I fish in North Wales. It seems we don-t have the diversity or the sheer volume of fish one gets in the south west. Having said that, I love the vids. Totally inspirational! I cant wait for my next trip to the coast

Hello John-
question or suggestion for your video on Haddock fishing why don't you put a small slide lead between 2 crimps on your rig between the bottom hook and the top hook to make sure your rig goes down tight and it lays tighter on the ground when you drift.

Hi John, love your tutorials. I just have one question, I have coarse and fly fished for many years and cant reel in with my right hand. So
how do sea fishers manage to reel fixed spool with their left hand and multis with their right?

Brilliant, I love a flaky Haddock too, mate. I look forward to plundering your store of vids throughout this friggin lockdown. Going mental in the Midlands but all the while escaping to Cornwall with John's Fishlocker Crew. Thanks lad!

I'm a bit mystified why you use a righthand multiplier and a left handed fixed spool. For both types I always use lefthand wind reels, am I missing something? Another excellent video, glad that you only keep what you can eat.

I grew up on cod, rock and cockles. So it wasn't until I was in my mid twenties that I had my first haddock in Cleethorpes. I still believe it is the very best fish for table. Better than bass and even turbot.
