Sea Fishing UK - How to fish with Lures. Texas Rig and Carolina Rig. Monster Wrasse RicTic66: Great another video- I hadn't seen. Always a bonus to see little James on deck -, piping on board the 'Skipper. Lol' I seem to be getting a few FL videos that I haven't seen before in my recommendations, which can only be a good thing. I've noticed one with a 'thumbnail' of a Red Gurnard and a length of multi coloured beads. - That's definitely my next watch. ---- Ps I was going to say that Ballan must have been pushing 7lb. My pb, caught on the rocks below Windspit, Jurassic Coast Dorset was 5lb 7oz and yours looked a couple of inches bigger all round. --

Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
Years since I've been sea fishing, but I've already started making purchases so this July, when we get down to Cornwall, I'm all over it! Not to mention some serious rock pooling. Have been digging about in the rocks and pools since I could crawl when we were on our summer hols in North Devon or Cornwall, but now I know what, how, and when to do it, this year is gonna be an absolute blast!

another cracking vid there mate, 1st of all hope you and your family have a awesome christmas. right i have afew questions if i may. the weights you using. what are they called bullet weights. and where can i get a hold of a mold for those bad boys. my other question would be on shore fishing (most my fishing is done this way) what kinda surface lures do you recommend for northern waters? cheers

Hey John, that is an absolute crackin' wrasse and similar size to the one i caught last year off the sea-going kayak with my wife onboard, near to Mousehole - needless to say, she didn't want it on the 'boat' with us. she saw its teeth and shall we say, she panicked? So i flipped it off - wish i could have weighed it - it had to be the best part of 4lb. AAARRRGGHH she cried!

You Sir have the patience of a saint! I think that was the most chatty James has ever been lol! -- What a fantastic Ballan wrasse. Even James shouted his glee at this amazing catch. Good on you guys. Love watching your father & son adventures. Reminds me of mine & my son's same age adventures many moons ago. Brilliant! --

No offense to you or James but found it very distractive, I understand you do this as a family but its a shame because you are so genuinely great at explaining, any chance of a full beginner's video for idiots as I know nothing but would love to learn sea/beach fishing, thanks john

Great wrasse John, but if you are not keeping the fish please don't weigh the fish through the gill case (Bad form)Always use a sling or a net. its like someone weighing you through your lungs. PS i have been fishing for 52 years. All the best(we all learn everyday.
