Exploring the rugged Cornish coastline in winter. Fishlocker junior and I explore stretch of the coast at low tide researching new fishing marks, diving locations and sharing a little history of our local area. We explain how to recognise good fishing locations, show you how to make up a quick and easy LRF/HRF fishing rig and collect free bait. Here are some links to the fishing tackle I used in this video: Flouro - Trilene - Penn Clash II 3000 - C&R Chinu

Cracking wrasse John, how lucky you are to live in a place where you can catch fish like that without even trying! James is lucky too, to have adventures like that with his father, I used to take my boys everywhere with me for little adventures like that, you must cherish every moment that you have with the little fella, they grow up so quickly! Watching this reminded me of those times I had with my kids when they were younger with great fondness, they still come fishing occasionally or we'll have a walk in the woods exploring but they have so many other distractions in life! I didn't think I would ever describe a fishing video as heart warming, I must be going soft in my old age lol! All the best pal & look after yourself & your precious family.

Hi John and young James
I enjoyed your walk/amble today,
The Ballan wrasse you caught was an absolute knock-out of a fish, the colours were magical, not something most people would think sits in the bank side gullies
Thankyou for taking us along with you on a days outing together, and James your giggles are from your toes upward and pure innocence.
Take care stay safe and keep it lit. - my friend.

Im just finished watching a video of a father and son bonding and creating memories.
I remember doing the same sort of things with my father. It is a pleasure to see a person interacting so completely natural. When we see so many plastic people its nice to see a normal person in a woolly Touk( Canadian term)
Thank you for making my afternoon buddy.

The 2lads going for a walk. Dad bring the rod just incase we can catch a fish. Off they go along the beach then stopping off just to test the waters then Bang a nice wrasse. Getting a bit tired and hungry now so it's time to go home to mum for a nice dinner. The End. Stay. Safe. Jimmy Dublin 13

Pure magic. I remember years ago I was on the foreshore waiting for the geese and whilst crouching behind a whin ( gorse) bush I was nearly smacked in the face by a barn owl and that encounter was far less than three feet. Keep the videos coming it-s all helping the people stay sane

Another great video good to see your both doing okay. Your very lucky down your end our wrasse have buggered off from the shallows and really only whiting and the odd cod popping up here in north wales but not long now till spring - the daffodils are poking through slowly

I'll tell ya, I would prefer that candy tin over a hibachi. It definitely seems to cook faster, plus it would be the ticket if you were camping and it started to rain. That little boy is quite the COMEDIAN! - Bless his heart!

I am more thrilled about the father and son bonding than the fishing I was the same with my dad when I was his age couple of decades ago wish I could climb on his shoulders again but i am a too old and I am too fat.

I tried to walk that concrete ledge around the silo there; I got ten feet from the first corner and bottled it! Vertigo got the better of me. Without a railing along there, my brain couldn't deal with it.
