This was literally the first trip out to sea on my new Warrior 170. After completing some modifications I took the boat out for some Offshore Sea trials. Deep sea wreck fishing at its finest - Both on lures and at anchor I found some stunning fish and got in some practice using the new boat. As mentioned in the video, here is the link to my video on how to anchor a wreck

Hi fella, often watch your videos to unwind after being at work. And your coastal foraging has taught me a thing or two we are just back from a camping trip to Hastings and I've spent the week with my arm up to my shoulder pulling out crab after crab, nothing huge, finding prawns in the pools and the odd baby flat fish, my 7yr old was so interested and excited and it's thanks to you really. Showing the hints and tips etc, thank you very much for making me a number 1 dad (her words) --

My grandson and I have been watching some of your fishing trips and really enjoy seeing you catch some very nice fish! I'm sure that you will love the new Warrior Boat, it seems very nice! We fish mostly for bass and other freshwater species since we live inland a couple hundred miles. When we do get to fish out in the Gulf of Mexico, we go for Cobia, King Mackerel and such. Thanks for posting some great videos, we really enjoy all your content! Keep um coming!

really enjoy fishing vicariously with you! I am second generation Brit and have often thought about returning to the home of my parents but the outdoor life is very important to me. You give an excellent realistic view of that! unfortunately Im still stuck in decisions between My natuaralised home, South Africa, or my generation home the UK. Wales specifically! I will watch many more of your VERY authentic fish locker episodes before I do anything.

My first time watching you this year. Sorry but I am into a lot of things. Painting for the first time in my old age. Home brewing. Gardening. Giving my ginger wine a taste for the first time. As you can see. I am a bit of a cowboy. But I hope I never change. It suite's me. Into weight lifting too. I recon I am in the top 1% of someone over 66 with big bicep's. I don't believe in acting your age. That is for people who have given up on life.

Love the new boat John and what a marvellous day to try it out for the first time, it-s bigger than the last one and seems to sit higher in the water as well but handles the swells with no problems all in all as expected you chose well, all the best. --

Grateful to learn if there is a video which explains why you changed boats. Obviously this one is more powerful but were there other considerations? Presumably you have sold the old boat and was this much more expensive? -

My son and I did an inventory of our fishing gear a couple of years ago and discovered we had 45 rods between us. We thought we should perhaps only keep the rods we really needed - and ended up with 49!

Your enthusiasm is infectious. I think if some one stopped you from fishing it would devastate you. You are too into into it. Myself I love fishing but just to far from the sea to do much of it.
