An overview of my September 2016 trip to Miniss Lake with Slate Falls Outposts in Sioux Lookout, Ontario.
Miniss is reachable by air only and is a spectacular body of water well over 20, 000 acres in size and studded with countless islands both large and small.
Fishing was world class for both numbers of walleye and trophy sized pike! The only downside if any is the almost overwhelming amount of structure to fish at Miniss. There's so much it can be almost intimidating!
The camp, like all of Slate Fall's outposts, is a gem. Truly a cut above the norm as far as Ontario fly-in outpost camps go.
For anyone considering a remote fishing trip in Ontario's Sunset Country, this camp is one you should look at closely! Date: 2022-05-08
