A detailed tour of Slate Falls Outposts Miniss east camp on Miniss Lake. Miniss is a large fly-in only lake roughly a 40 minute flight north of Sioux Lookout, Ontario. A big lake, Miniss is well over 20, 000 acres in size and is studded with a countless number of islands both large and small. Fishing is world class for both walleye and pike, and the camp itself is a gem. Like all of Slate Falls camps, the Miniss East facility has some unexpected luxuries. Comfortable furniture, solar electric appliances and lighting, docks with actual boat slips, comfortable mattresses and great boats.
