According to their website, 5 days' package is 4390 USD per person (including picking you up from the Airport, you pay for the flight yourself, of course. Single day's guidance services only - 600 USD per two people. I know these are normal market prices, but still, this is not even for the middle class, imho. Not many people can afford this. I'm not poor but I would rather go alone and catch less than pay this (or any, for that matter) sort of money for a couple of bits of advice: / Maybe I'm missing something. On the other hand, it's great that there's a market for this, even if it's an elite one. A win-win situation for both local guiding companies and wealthy foreigners.

Fishing in Chile was a great experience, the country is beautiful and the fishing was excellent. Had the best time of my life fishing on the Rio Simpson and I would go back any time to do it again and. Spent 5 days fishing different rivers and only once I saw someone else fishing, it was like having the whole river to only yourself. The bad part of being in Patagonia is sometimes I would have to look up at the scenery and my guide would be yelling at me I have a strike but it was worth it to once in a while to miss one just to admire the view of the spectacular countryside.

Those fave cover things crack me up. Someone started saying they were for fishing and that's all it took for people to buy them and wear them all the time. I've never once thought I needed to cover my face while fishing. I just don't get it. I guess if you've got a big zit you don't want your buddies to see, hahahaha
