Frankly, I'm deeply puzzled as to why you repeatedly called the weather conditions bad, coz, correct me if I'm wrong, but many carnivorous fish actually like this sort of change and activity rises. And the wind doesn't seem that bad, so, from the fishing perspective, there aren't any significant problems. All in all, this looks almost perfect and much better than a sunny day, imho. Obviously, it's not really clear what the water temperature is, which is, imho, the most important factor to consider. But it doesn't seem to be very low.
Anyways, interesting watch (and Happy New Year! :)

you seldom get your fish on the reel. you all step on your lines and have problems with your lines all over the floor, ground, boat etc. learn from your mistakes. lost fish and broken lines etc. with all your years and knowledge as purists fly fishermen, whatever. you should know better. the more I watch you guys the more I get discouraged about the wonders and beauty of so called fly fishing.

I will be fly fishing the Chama River in the snow this friday I hope they are biting. Nice big fish in British Columbia, I hope my dad takes me there one day to fish. The trout aren't that big here in New Mexico.

Why make the fish sterile, would it not be better to achieve a self sustaining population of fish? That is what Montana has striven for in all trout populations.

great fish i live on the east coast in Connecticut no one i have seen does that here but me and i ill be putting more effort into it i do ok but need to improve
