Frequently we are asked where can I fly fish for wild Brook Trout that are accessible. This past season we found a great drive-to location for both river and lake fishing for Brook Trout, plus the bonus of Lake Trout and Smallmouth Bass fishing. Welcome to Ritchie Falls Resort which is located approx. 50 miles north of the TransCanada Highway (17 Hwy) and the small town of Massey in Northern Ontario. Bill Spicer and Colin McKeown have driven up to the resort at the end of May to fly fish for Lake Trout and Brook Trout. and do they ever have fun! Though the water levels are too high on local rivers/streams to fish, the boys catch lots of Brook Trout on local small lakes throughout the region!
