I'm from Manitoba and have been following Jay since the very beginnings of Uncut Angling, his vids always put me in a great mood. Today it's hard to even crack a smile. I lost the best man at my wedding today, my one fishing buddy, my best friend. I spoke to him last night about how I did on the opener this past Saturday and we were setting something up to go fishing this weekend and then I found out this morning he's gone. Guys, if you have a friend you truly love being around, tell them how great it is to hang out with them and that you appreciate the joy they bring. I'll never forget you Stan, love you buddy.

You and Sam are too cute together. You remind me of my late wife, Mary, and I. Fishing with the woman you love is one of life's greatest pleasures. I miss it and her. I'm wishing you many more years of being one with each other. and the crayfish.
A memory, similar to the humor of Sam. We were out fishing one day and I'm watching the sonar and I said to Mary, A nice soft bottom here. She replied, Why, Thank You! I cracked up. Years later and I'm still cracking up. Be one with the crayfish. (pinch) I hope you two are cracking upt to that years from now.

My dad patented the idea of adding scent into poured plastic lures in the 80's with his company, 'Feature Lures'. He was forced to do this after Gary Yamamoto patented the salt injection process so he had to step away from salt. The secret ingredient that added scent and some color was various aquarium fish feed flakes. He could find brown, black and I think orange. So, if you want to add scent, try fish food!
