Ice Fishing Season IS HERE! Welcome to first ice 2020! Had to do some checking around NW Ontario to finally find some fishable ice. PLEASE use extreme caution when venturing out on the ice this winter. While lake can be safe one day, the conditions can easily deteriorate

I'll leave the 'first ice' for you lightweights lol, I am close to 300 pounds so I wait until the ice is safe for ATVs and snowmobiles. something more in my size range: P
I'll be a little later this year because Sam (my wife) is due to have our first child in December. But itll just be that much better when I get on the ice. Cheers.

If the ice is that sketch, I wouldn't go. I would risk losing all my gear. When you add the cost of all the crap it's like $1K in that sled. That first ice hole looked super sketch, like you were sinking and you made the hole with the spud bar. I still liked the video

Friggin awesome video brother! I'm based out of Ottawa, no ice out here yet. Going to be my first serious season, excited to make some content! I'll be checking out your getting started series for sure. Great job! New sub man

My son and I really enjoy your content. Competitor 185 coming soon. How close did you mount your Livescope transducer to the port side of your boat? Inside or outside of the tiedown strap? Thanks!

Hell yeah! First ice! I typically go for Brook Trout also as my first ice fish out here in the Colorado/Wyoming area. We have fishable ice by late October in some years above 10k feet.
