Last year, when the ice was awesome here in Keweenaw Bay, I took my g/f fishing. We camped out. She out fished me 3 to 1, after she fell asleep, I caught 4 nice bruiser-sized lake trout. We made a bet. Largest fish wins, loser has to cook dinner for a week. ( I'm a retired pro chef. She makes the best food ever. ) hmmm?
I lost ( lol )
That was last year, today, me and my Fiancee are going to camp out again, once the ice arrives.

I do alot of open water fishing and I found your videos because this is my first year ice fishing and I love your videos. You have actually taught me alot and I'm killing it. But serious question! How do you forget to put a handle on the real? How do you not notice that it's missing lol. Keep up the videos man. Your doing great things

I did the same thing a couple weeks, I brought a different rod since I broke my main the trip before. Drop my line In and no handle lol. Still used the rod to jig and handbombed them up

They could add another 4 ft to the tent just for kitchen and heater and electronics. Looks to cramped but it's working or have a whole another tent to add on the existing one.
