Flair, just wanted to say love your videos and also thank you for the tips and tricks in your videos. I have been fishing for only a couple years now and when I had first started fishing I tried to use chatterbait and I absolutely hated it. Never caught anything on them and ect. After coming to your videos and seeing the catches you often get soly from chatterbaits I decided to give them a try again and I've been having fantastic luck at a lake near my home. I recently have moved out and I am use to fishing smaller lakes and mostly ponds. However the lake I moved to is a large lake in the south with essentially no vegetation and little structure and so all of my knowledge and practice was for a completely different style of fishing and I have been struggling much at this lake. However now with the use of chatterbaits I have been catching much more fish And I know have confidence in chatterbaits and enjoy throwing them also. So again thank you for your videos they have helped me a ton

so I'm relatively new to fishing and never used braided line. I got a bait caster reel and the guy at the shop spooled it up for me. he used 10 # braided line and said my reel was rated for 12# line so I couldn't use anything over that or I could ruin my reel. but I see differently everywhere else. I'm just confused cuz I hear ppl say nothing under 20 or even 30 on a bait caster. can somebody clarify for me please?

Wouldn't recommend the Sharpie method. sharpies, spray paints, nail polish, etc all have scent. I've caught a lot of bass on chatterbait just out of the package with a trailer. Also note, the z man chatterbait already comes with the bend in the blade. I personally stick with the z man because of the bend in the blade, and various color options. Stick with a swim bait trailer and match your colors

I've tried the fake Chatterbaits with no luck at all. The Z Man Chatterbaits work great for me and no need to color in the blades. I catch them on gold and silver blades, and all of their blades already have the bend in them. They always did. Why but an off brand and tweak it when you can buy the original and fish it as it comes out of the package? Waste of time reworking new one off baits.

I'm definitely gonna have to try that especially the sharpie on the blade. I just recently started using chatterbaits but so far I haven't caught anything on em. Mine are 3/8oz in white, chart/white, n black/blue also have a zman micro in chart/white which I was thinking bout dipping the trailer on it in chart spike it

Nice tips, and fish also. I do have to comment on boat flipping your fish however. Seems to me a little unethical to flip those large fish into your boat and have them flopping around all over the deck. Im no tree hugger by any means, but I don't agree with boat flipping fish, use a net or simply reach down and grab it.

Bending the blade doesnt push the bait down in the water column. Way back before you were even around when Ron Davis designed the chatterbait he experimented with many Blade shapes. The bend in the blade is to help it deflect off of cover. Has nothing to do with keeping the bait from rising. lmao.

Unless you show me a video of you actually catching bass left and right otherwise you just full of shit this is like any other apso called angler who Waits 50 days to have 10 shots and make you think that he only fished for a few minutes, you nothing but a glorified scammer.

This is ok but the sharpie wears off--- get auto touch up paint, it's more permanent--- also, I'm designing a porcelain vibrating jig---- you heard me-- and you might wonder about that----- I've copyrighted it already so don't bother---- more details another time.
