fish slower. once you catch a fish on a spot slow down and pick it apart. should be running a square bill on those rocks and a buzz bait or top water also. then back off. use electronics and find where the rocks stop and the muddy bottom begin and work the transition.

how do I catch bass in shallow waters? I've caught one in this spot but they don't seem to show up anymore. Topwater doesn't really work and crank bait dives too deep.

you shouldn't just throw the fish back into the water, hold it in the water for a couple seconds until it regains its composure.
