if you want to increase your land ratio when fishing deep make sure you reel down and load up the rod a little before you set the hook. I noticed Christian was just swinging for the fences and although that'll work you'll see a better land ratio reeling down first.

I recognize this lake Walnut Creek if I'm not mistaken There are some monsters in that lake I've caught some huge crappie in those standing trees That is one of four lakes that I hit in the Omaha Metro. Southwest Iowa also has some fantastic fishing, too
