Late April here in southeast texas and chatterbait is crushing them in ponds. But then again when does a chatterbait not produce? If your fishing in texas you need a chatterbait and a drop shit rigged up at all times.

I carry less tackle than most when fishing bass. I use one rod 5/0 hooks and soft plastic baits. rarely do I use any weight at all. I allow baits to free fall on their own then slowly twitch them back.

You should go to bickham-rudkin park and see if you can catch anything because I really have a hard time catching stuff there and Im not positive on what kind of fish are in there. (Its in Oklahoma btw)

You need a nice fishing kayak like a hobie PA or something to hit up those ponds like that. Check out LFGs kayak. Way better to get around the pond on, in my opinion.

The water in the john boat probably had bacteria growing in it lol. that lizard trailer did look juicy(; but rage tail is the juice anyways. Pb on rage tail craw 8lbs 10oz
