Michigan has no perch or at least nice perch the limit is 50 a day per person and you will be lucky to catch even 5 perch nice enough to eat the Michigan dnr is horrible they only stock trout and they lie about the high deer population theres barely any deer in Michigan

If you kill them immediately after you catch them they will taste alot better. The longer they are out of water or contained the more stress they have, the more stress they have the more chemicals flow through their body tainting the meat.

My preferate fish it's a white flesh that is fluffy and tender you make a nice batter and you can't stop eating them until they are all gone you be not addicted to eat them you be addicted to fishing the perch hmmmmmm

you just threw away such nice crispy skin. its so easy to gut and scale, fry/bbq then pull the bone out after your cook it. there not blue gills guys loll perch should be eaten whole in my opinion good catch

A large Yellow Perch is called a Jack Perch. very mild and good eating fish if you know how to cook them. I don't but my uncle makes them amazing. but he wont share the recipe.
