I hadn't caught any fish the whole week. I haven't ever caught any pike either in my whole entire life. My brothers first pike was in this week on the Tuesday. We were there since Sunday. His first Pike EVER was a 26 inch MONSTERIt was thursday, The 4th of July. Me and my grandpa were going in from 2 hours of him catching. I was feeling down because I had a bunch of bites that got off. We decided to troll in. We set the lines out for 5 minutes and then I looked at my line and it was bending. I put the boat in netural and killed it. The fish was putting up a fight then I finally landed the fish. I pulled it in and was confused. (I thought it was a striper)Then my grandpa was like Nice job, you caught a pike That counted as my weekend camping. I was so happy for catching my first pike it was 17 inchs so it was small but I was so happy: )Keep up the good work flair

Hey to help with the pulling of the fish housed put Teflon plastic runners on bottom of sled counter sink about 1/8 th in into plastic and it almost no drag even after it been chewed up by navel on parking lots and trails for clamisia would want 6in wide runners or if you really want to spend money cover whole bottom and come up 6 to 8 ins on front curve of sled

Where are the big Pike? Those are just hammer handles. I fish Lake of the Woods, exclusively for walleye with 8 lb test line. I have taken at least 6 Pike over 40 on walleye rigs, and a musky at 42. Nice enough video, but. Those are not big Pike. Just saying.

Dude, Casey's breakfast bacon pizza before a duck hunt or ice fishing. probably the biggest thing I miss about Minnesota, appears you're new to ice fishing? lol. definitely the most fun you can have outside duck season

What were you watching on your phone in the tent bro? But nice video though. I'm really wanting to do some ice fishing. Might have to take a trip up north this winter.

Instantly knew the first lake you boys were on, lived on it for 10 years and the fishing has always been great. Always had a lot better luck in the summer

Come and fish in Michigan on Lake St Clair. I live right near the lake. We can catch some whales during the day and spoon at night.

You should try the North end of osakis mn huge panfish a little slow during day and a prime bight at sunset idk it's an idea
