About The DX 704c Hvy /Fast tip.
My question is do you think thats Over kill for a 3/8-1/2 oz spinner bait, chatter baits, and some Swim jigs around Sparse weed/wood cover, or would going up to a 5 power 705c Mag Hvy Fast action be better choice?
I currently don't own any 5 or 6 power graphite, only 704/705 CB and One savvy 703, so im not able to gauge the Tapers of the 5 & 6, Im open for your suggestions on what action/power i should go with in either the Champion Or Xtreme Models.

Been lookin for a great jig rod. Took your advise. Got just before fathers day. Went out with my dad on fathers day. An we crushed them! I caught at least 15 largemouth. My dad caught 6. Best day fishing I ever had. The rod is super sensitive. Most of the bites where sutle. But u can still feel the bass on this rod. I was using 50 lb braid. Awsome rod an thanks for this vid. Think I got my money's worth on this one putting alone. Lol

I am very interested in getting a Dobyns so I can pitch/flip/throw jigs, however I wasn't so enthusiastic about spending the 250 for the Champion Series and was wondering about the Savvy Series, which are about 80 cheaper. Should I go with the Savvy Series and save some money, or is it worth it to spend the extra money for the Champion rod. How much of a difference is there between the two?

Hey LakeForkGuy. Would the Dobyns Champion 7'3 Heavy with extra fasttip it's the 736C on the website. Only thing stopping me from getting the 735C is i throw 3/8's? And it says best for 1/4 - 1/1oz. What do you Reccomend i love to just bounce jigs and flip them under docks and any brush etc. Would the Dobyns Champion 735C 7'3 MH extra fast tip be better or the Dobyns 7'3 Heavy extra fast tip?

What rod from the Savvy series should I get for these baits? I could throw 1/4 ounce jigs, and 1/2 ounce jigs on. Also, it would be cool if I could throw weightless plastics and 1/8 ounce to 5/16 ounce jig heads with plastics on them too? Just wanted to know what Dobyns rod from the savvy series would be best for these baits?

Do you use a fast or and extra fast for Jig fishing? In any power, what is your favorite action? Is fast action more sensitive or and extra fast action rod now sensitive? Please I respect your opinion on this subject if you don't mind answering, I do realize this is a old video. Thank you

I have the dobyns 704c t-rig/jig and its my favorite. Very sensitive and extremely balanced rod with reel on it. Dollar for dollar they're better than loomis (personal opion. Tight lines!
