Drop shotting is not my favorite technique but it will almost always get bites when you fish are sitting below you and you can see them on the electronics. I was catching them really good on a crankbait in this general area, but had the drop shot handy for any roaming fish that would show up on the electronics right below me that I could quickly drop down and pick up some extra bites. GEAR Here I am rigged up with a Texas style drop shot system with a 6'10 Medium Light Shimano Cumulus rod and a 2500 Stradic FK rigged with 20lb Power Pro Max Cuatro braided line. 6' of 15lb Seagar Blue Label Leader Size 1 Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap Hook Jackall Cross Tail Shad

help, i am working in the Seattle, WA area; all the lakes in the area are clear water, and shallow near the bank unable catch anything from the bank, seen some beds they spawned 3 weeks ago used frogs, jigs, worms watermelon, pumpkin seed, and other clear water colors fished from 7 am to 4 still no luck have me stumped

I almost consider resorting to a drop shot as giving up. They catch fish but I place them right there with soaking live bait on the excitement scale. I'd almost rather sit at home. Only ever had one trip where the drop shot was the difference between catching fish and getting skunked.

Great video Justin. Would love to be able to see the graph to see what you are seeing. Also would be great to see the chart of the point you are fishing. Thanks for everything you do.

Something we do out here on the delta and lakes like clear lake are use a dropshot on a medium heavy baitcaster with heavier fluorocarbon or braid and use it to flip with. Works magic

Could you do a video on the Strike King Shim E Stick, Yum Dinger, Stik-O, and Yamamoto Senko? Thanks for your time and I'm hooked on your vids!

What model fish finder/depth finder are you using on your kayak? Love your videos. Drop shot is my all time favorite down here in Florida.
