Just a few weeks ago, had the funnest night of fishing I'd had in a while. Caught a few largemouth in the afternoon, but as evening approached, i heard and saw baitfish just going crazy everywhere. Decided to throw a lipless at it! Hooked a smallie, so i figured it was a big school of smallmouth going for the baitfish. Tossed it out again an BAAAAAMMM. HEAVY.
Fought it for a minute until I saw it turn in front of me, my first hybrid!
Ended up catching 8 that night, biggest was 6. 5lb. Got em on a lipless, squarebill, and the last few on an Aglia long.

Why are you running your outboard with the cover on it? Wouldn't that cause it to overheat? Oh and BTW those are Hybrid Bass you were catching, not Striped Bass. Note the broken horizontal stripes on the body. On a Striped Bass all stripes will be solid lines.

Can't believe you didn't keep a couple to put the knife to, Oh well. BTW, get some welding lead size jumpers, you'll smoke your starter trying to use those walmart ones. Measure how long ya need them and have a pair make, you'll never regret it!

There dinks compared to the ones we catch in Virginia, now you get some creek chub top water plugs and tell me if largemouth hit them 3 oz buck tails and use some reel like the revo beast that wont get smoked

And your throwing them back! My grandfather would have a damn fit right now if he saw you guys throwing them big fish back. They would make some nice size fillets! Where are you guys fishing at?

I have a Noco Genius booster pack in case this happens. I have jumped a lot of cars with it, boat should be like jumping a Civic.
