That is such a beautiful mount. Thing is perfect. My PB is 8lbs 6oz and a 6lb 2oz smallmouth. The LMs mouth was such a big bucketmouth I could make a fist and it would fit inside its mouth. Thing was a beast. Caught it on a Hula Popper around midnight, wanna say it was a full moon or close to it. Massive downed oak in the water I caught it by. Smallie I caught on an orange jighead tipped with a leech at the mouth of a river that goes into Lake Michigan. Good times!

Both are excellent mounts, color depends a lot on were the fish was caught, i used to do fish mounting and was good but this Taxidermist was better. I used Pictures to mount fish to get the color close to what it should be and, after the fish is dead, color is not as good as on a live fish. i used the actual skin, but Salmon and ocean fish are usually mounted from a fiberglass form at least when i did it. Enjoy.

You won't struggle with making fake fish scales, you will have chance to make the original eyes of the fish or make very life-like artificial eyes with original iris colours, you don't have to paint the fish skin if you don't want.

I will show you the best fish taxidermy that you can make by yourself. If you send me e-mail I will send you some picture. Believe me. They are fish skin mounts and look very life-like.
