Fishing at Night for Giant Snook - I Caught My PB!

Fishing bridges at night for giant snook has been on my bucket list for years! In this vlog I'm with Outlaw and JQ for another round of fishing all night for these allusive fish. These huge fish sit under the bridges at night and wait for live bait like mullet and other bait fish to swim by. We are using heavy spinning tackle and live mullet with calculated placement out or bait to give the right presentation to attract these huge snook into biting. Finally, after many hours and many casts, I was able to hook up on a giant snook and land it in the net. It's an epic feeling to able to land one of these awesome fish that resemble largemouth bass so much. They are as close to a bass as you can get when fishing saltwater! I was so happy to scratch this bucket list fish off the list and come back to Texas knowing I had finally tricked one of those big bridge snooks into biting. I know the feeling bro only not the feeling of landing a monster yet. I've been trying for a solid year now. I've caught a bunch of 12 -18range with maybe a few 24 range. This past year or so I've been targeting monster snook and tarpon. I've hooked a bunch and have fought a bunch but haven't landed my monster yet. I'll get it though. Stoked you got one

I have a headlamp that fits like a cap and aims forward on my forehead for night fishing, otherwise I need a lantern to see where the line hits the water where I fish at night. by end of this month the salmon and trout should be crowded right there headed upstream for the winter. so happy you caught that giant!

In Louisiana if you get on somebodys honey hole without asking you better be ready to fight. Even the women. Not me of course. I do something a little quieter to get revenge. But dont try it. Lol!

Snook are more fickle than bass. Great video! You got the real snook fishing experience man, late night! I've done this so many times through the years, love snook fishing.
