I know this is an old post but I enjoyed it, I wish I'd seen it when first came out. I'm in need of a baitcasting rod. I got a new reel, it's so nice, I went to put it on my OLD Berkeley lightening rod, it's soo old it's only 6 ft, but at the time that was considered a long flipping rod. Well. when I went to put on the reel, old 6 footer, well she cracked when I was overly cranked down on it where the reel attaches. I have applied JB weld to it but I can't help but worry, if I hook double didge, my rod may break in two. So if you still have any, send me a message then I could email you my address, I'm in Lewisville so maybe we could just meet at academy or something. I think you live in the DFW area. Anyway thanks for all the good shows.

Could use some rods LFG. LOL. 8 of mine got stole Down in Rockport holy frigg. Those darn thieves prolly sold them for a pack of sigs. Good luck in the 201niner
