Sing Up for MTB for as low as 5 - Use Code MONDO Socherbal: I own a private 10 acre lake that has bluegill in it that puts those to shame. Tiny bass though. Average size bass is probably about a pound. Funny thing is, there are also absolute monsters in there 10+ lbs. they are just incredibly rare. I didnt realize it was abnormal for bluegill to be that big until I saw this video. One time, I caught a bluegill as big as my size 11 shoe. You are right about 1 thing: those bluegill are delicious to eat. I fillet them like bass. Beats the hell out of picking the bones out. You should try it

Hey LFG. just FYI under your seat is a junk drawer where you can store all the small things so you dont have to reach out to the dry pod in front of you. There's a little knob that locks it in place so it doesnt move around on ya. The bonafide yak is an awesome yak and im happy to see others using them. Also a yak anchor will help keep you in place when the wind is hitting.

Loved the paddle kayak video man. I own a paddle kayak and it can be the ultra struggle. But as with anything practice enough and youll establish a pattern of success. I just caught my first 5 pounder in my kayak. Be sweet if you watched it man! Great video.

You have to go back and fish that pond again with proper frog fishing gear. Otherwise awesome video. Pretty sure everyone who catches a bass on a frog makes the same ooh noise every time.

Hi. Love that Mora Eldriss. Great for kayaks. Prefere the Mora 2000 for other fishing and the Mora companion hg for camping. Great quality for a great price. All the best.

LFG, you gotta kayak this place again with your gear setup for the grass and reeds. Would make a great video. Hope OSG and Mini-OSG are doing great. Keep Dangglin'!

FYI, you are trying to hook the Bass to soon with the frogs. Count 1000-1 or up to 1000-2 then set the hook. My hook ratio is almost 80% when doing it this way.

lol 17 lb mono is the heaviest thing I use. I have been fishing out of a lifetime tamarack 10 footer and I love it. Never been in a yak with the foot pedals.

Ive never been much of a jig fisherman besides in the winter but lately Ive changed I absolutely love flipping docks and trees with a half ounce jig
