Hey Vic, I grew up in the NW and found the best way to cook SH is very simple. First spray meat side with some type of oil, then place on high heat on BBQ for several minutes skin side down. Granted you have left the skin on, let it cook to get good grill marks (4-5) minutes and flip to skin side for another 4 minutes. Use whatever spice but lemon pepper is always a great compliment. Very simple but your guest will enjoy.

ITS NOT A BOBBER. ITS A FLOAT! LMAO. Just playin man. Nice fish. Glad you got on em. You gotta come here to michigan and check out our great lakes steelhead and salmon. I live in probably the best place in the state for it and we tear em up year round. Absolutely an amazing time!

Fun tip for you! Next time you cook steelhead or salmon if you baste it with a good homemade barbecue sauce halfway through the cooking process and let it caramelize on the outside it'll be one of the best fish you've ever tasted! By the way I'm from Washington and live in Oregon

You killed it again with this vid! Your buddies are ridiculously knowledgeable on their local fisheries! On a side note it didn't escape me that these guys from Oregon were reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, and how meaningful that is in these nutty times. Well done!
