The Last few Wade fishing trips have been very hit or miss for me. This was the first time we saw any speckled trout action in a while. The sea trout are generally around sea grass, but the Indian river lagoon has lost a ton of life due to lake Okeechobee discharge. Anyways gotta make the most of the situation, so I made fish tacos with the sea trout and a remoulade sauce! GEAR I USE

Try the smaller corn tortillas, put one in light olive oil and warm up, put it on top of one that you didnt heat up, then heat up another. Keep going back and forth, then serve. Also, with the flour tortillas, put some vegetable oil in a pan, with a couple of long forks, put one side of the tortilla in the hot oil, keep the other out and when it starts bubbling up, just keep breaking the bubble, then put the other side in at 45 degree angle. The tortilla comes out like a taco and is scrumptious.

Then never eat a speckled trout again. They literally all have worms. They do not harm or prey on the trout, but live in their flesh until the trout gets eaten by a shark. Then they develop into fully adult worms, do the egg thing, speckled trout gets infested and the life cycle continues.

Also, I can generally tell if a fish has worms by looking at its chin, you can generally see them there. And another sign is the front side fins, they will have black spots as well and I think that's an earlier stage of the worm.
They do cook out, but it's definitely the cooks secret.

Not trying to sound racist. I've always been curious, on why white people eat their tortillas raw? Your supposed to cook them a little out the package. And we use corn tortillas for fish tacos in California. I know Texas uses flour.

You clipped that line and let it fall in the water As an avid fisherman I would expect you to know better. And always leave nature better than you found it. Pick up trash dont leave it Happy fishing!

I consider both of them to have worms and make sure they're cooked for thoroughly you do not eat freshwater sushi the only thing I would buy that Bear Grylls endorses is a tapeworm medicine

Hey, I'm wondering if you are Hungarian? My aunt made something like that sauce but I think she had more sourcream than mayo, anyway looks great! (except the worms of coarse) manja!

Worms Smorms. We eat so many fruit fly larvae and eggs in our fruit we might as well be frog people. lol As long as it won't harm me, I'm good. thanks for the info.

Love your videos but disappointed in you that you let that fishing line fall right into the water but im still subbed and love your videos

That is one big ass taco lol. Just fold one end and make it into a wrap. Helps the contents from sliding out as you eat it.
