My two yen (as a competition shooter)
Now try a 5 shot group by hand loading each round into a cold rifle and retake your shooting position between each shot. then see if your MPI is still on target
Shooting prone off my mat changes my zero. shooting prone off the ground changes my zero. shooting in a light shirt changes my zero. I suspect not shaving changes my zero. perhaps even toenail clipping changes my zero. somehow
For me. the vice on a bench is kind of like a bore sight
It tells me something. but I've still got millions of things I can still screw up
And I do.
Shooting is not fun. it's exquisitely frustrating

That is a great gun and it shooting sub MOA at 100 and 200 yards. I think the wind was getting the better. Plus, you will get some drop between 100 and 200 yards. That is why I slip the scales on even a hunting rifle. Because there could be times that you need to dial distance if approaching 200 yards. I have seen a bull elk hunt where a young man shot about 1, 300 yards with, I think, a. 300 Win Mag, thought it could have been 7 mm Rem Mag. That took some dialing, not just BDC.

Need a little advice, I'm shooting a Savage axis, in 223, okay, now the longest shot I could practice at was 158 yards what my range finder said. Okay I'm dead on, now. I been hunting coyotes, I've shot at one twice in two days at about 175 yards, but I have missed both times at it standing still, broad side. I'm using American Eagle 50 grain jacketed hollow points, do you think my shots are dropping under or I'm shooting over the target?

Really good video -- I'm a retired ag engineer helping my son in the National Guard today sight in his private AR-15. Good shooting & great explanations; and please forgive my pickiness, but what you indicated is not actually a half-inch square. Instead, h = (a2 + b2) 0. 5 ==> (0. 52 + 0. 52) 0. 5 = 0. 71, or about a 3/4 inch square --- still, tack driver shooting!

head movement of the shooter when he looking at cursor and target in the scope?

You have a 243, what did you expect, 3 or 4 groups? I have three 243's (Win M-70, Ruger American, and a beater Parker-Hale) they all shoot lights out, and low recoil. Just purchased a Howa like yours in 22-250, and wow, do they shoot great like yours. Great Vid.

The Howa is a great gun. had a 308 axion. it was a tack driver on factory ammo. was a dream to shoot and sure do miss it, they are hard to find now. and the Sterling scopes are great glass also. would buy another. great vid keep up the great job.

lol why dont u just hold ur crosshair where u where aiming then without moving ur rifle put the crosshair on ur bullethole. takes 2 shots to 0
