for Turkey I either use my bps 10 gauge with 2 oz #4 and a factory extra full choke which I use if I might need to shoot out to 60-70 yards I can get the pattern you get at 25 at 50 your 45 is my 70 just going by patterns if I'm hunting close range or a want to try and call them in extremely close I'll use my mossberg 410 with #6 and a full choke I can ethically take a bird a 25 yards but I won't try any further I've take about a dozen with the 410 the last few seasons most inside 20 yards and 2-3 dozen with the 10 over the years and idk how many with a 12

Hold on a minute, The Flop Will Be Stopped? Was that a shot at Mr M. Waddell? Who happens to wear a hat that says Can't Stop The Flop? Awwww man. Don't try the Collector, Deermeat. You may eat for dinner, but he eats it whenever he wants. Screw with him, then you got Bill, David, and Nick to have to deal with. Maybe Tyler too. You don't want that heat DMFD. They are the real bud.

Been turkey hunting 30 years plus and as a victim of marketing I must have 5 ext full turkey ckokes. There's enough shot deformation from the pressure and extra shot over 1 and1/8 oz shot. I put ego aside and only hunt turkeys with the full for past 7 years. Win xr work awesome w a full. Great vid

I like this and as a hunter for many years. A lot of people dont have the area to go out and do tests Ive been to my local gun range and all they will let me do as far as shotguns go is shoot at skeet and I dont do skeet. They dont want shotguns on the rifle range unless it is Sabath.

I consider myself more of a simple hunter, i use an old browning citori (not one the expensive ones) with a fixed modified choke on the top and a full on the bottom for Turkey i use the bottom full choke barrel, no fancy 3 shells, just federal #5 pheasant loads works like a charm

Escort shotguns are absolutely excellent firearms! They are honestly the most reliable semi auto shothuns i have ever seen. As far as reliability they will outperform a Benelli and anyother shotgun out there. They are also one of the cheapest semi autos you can buy.

Im gonna get in on turkey season this year in northern Florida. I do have a question! I have an H&R pump shotgun and im looking at getting a turkey choke, but the ones I'm finding say Benelli, Remington or Beretta. Will they fit in my shotgun?

Again. have you even tried any other load? Like even a freaking dove load. Hornady turkey ammo suxxxxx. Oh, wait. you said your most common shot is 15 yds. Well your good with the bottom of the barrel turkey ammo.

Up here in Eastern Washington (in my experience) your closest shot would be 30 yards. My longest shot was 55 yards down hill. It also happened to my very first kill. A Merriam weighing in at 65 lbs ( undressed.

Good stuff
Larger shot needs less choke.
Full and extra full is for smaller shot.
Also Longer the barrel less choke needed.
On a 23 plus inch barrel
#5 modified or improved modified max.
