Nice. I drove a truck over the road for 10 years. 350 days a year, and I can repeat basically what you are finding out. You learn to live, and to do it comfortably with what you need, not what you want. What most people want is just keeping up with the Jones so to speak. You have 28 feet. I did it comfortably in about 8. Next time you get a chance, take a peek inside an over the road sleeper truck. With an 1800 watt inverter, I cooked in it. All I needed a truck stop for was the three ss and the occasional wal mart to resupply food and other essentials. The key is the essentials. Once you learn that, youll be fine. Great job on the videos, and as big of a change that you made, I have to say that 5 years or more down the road, you wont regret it for a second. Fish on my friend. Stay safe.

We are new to this but we love it. I have been looking for a rig like yours for several months and I had given up until I saw yours. Its exactly what we need. We have one smaller but yours is perfect for us. We use an inflatable kayak that has the rod holders and everything and is great to take to the water and feels very safe. Love our toy hauler, but yours is better. I hope that yours was better finished than ours. Where do you store your generator? We were using a small portable but we had to turn the refrigerator off to make coffee and no AC! I just ordered a 3500 watts and weights over 100lbs. Too much for us to lift to the truck so we plan to roll it in with the motorcycle. We will start looking now for a Grey Wolf 22RR, anything we should be aware? Good luck and thank you.

First time viewer and like what I see. Immediate thought was that I didn't see (or hear you mention) fire extinguisher; I'd be sure to have minimum of one; maybe, two (one in the bedroom, in case of fire. Also, I'd go for some of the Command hooks to hang stuff (like on those big, empty walls. Benefit of Command, they can be moved without damaging the walls; just mount with new tape strip. Does the unit have a Linen Closet in/near the bathroom? Would be great for storage, too. You'll be making the unit your own, with a bit of time; I know, it'll work for you. Again, enjoyed the VLOG, even if I'm NOT a fisherman. Be Safe!

Hey Robert, why did you settle on the Forest River? Did you buy this new or used? I've seen mixed reviews on the Forest River products and have been looking at the Grand Design trailers. Specifically I need a toy hauler. Not only am I going to go on fishing trips like you, but I have hunting dogs (small field bred cockers) that I hunt pheasant and grouse with. A toy hauler makes more sense for me and my dogs. The other thing I have to figure out is what to do with my dogs if I'm on a combined fishing/hunting trip at the same time.

I turned this VERY informative video into a drinking game within the first 2 minutes of hearing Robert say kinda when describing the RV- He says it about every 20 seconds, and once you start hearing it, you can't NOT hear it. I was shitfaced drunk by the end of this video, and, I want to buy this toy hauler! I will, for sure, be sharing this video with my RC (remote controll) racing buddies (many of whom have RVs) and like to drink after a long, hard day of racing. I'll make ya famous!

PLEASE check tire capacity. .Nice video but I know it's a YEAR later asking this man. This may have come up already but DO YOU REALIZE THIS CAMPER ONLY HAS 1336LBS. CARGO CAPACITY. REALLY ONLY 860lbs WHEN YOUR FRESH WATER TANK IS FULL & FULL PROPANE TKS. 110lbs & BATTERY 50lbs.
. add your 2 KAYAK's your bike maybe your lefts with 500LBS IF YOUR LUCKY.
. and this is without adding your SOLAR+batteries.

Hello Robert. Nice video. I appreciate you getting out the info on your toy hauler. My wife and I look to try our hand at RVing (borrowing a family member's trailer for a couple of months. If we like it, we will probably get a trailer like yours. Please let us know if any downside issues arise with your trailer. Thanks again. We hope to run into you on the road someday! Take care.

Nice camper! I was looking into getting a forest river grey wolf 22rr a few months back. Any issues with finding a place to dump the sewage? I understand you can do that at the campgrounds. But what happens if you are not camping and your tank is full? Do they have a option for just a dumping charge? Single eh? I kayak fish also. Lol nice video!

Hey Robert, great video!
Im about to buy this exact model. 2019/2020 model. how has it been for you so far? Hows the build quality been. the appliances. overall fit and finish. Im also planning on dry camping on some remote land. Looks like the fridge drains the battery when it runs on propane?
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated!

great video, thx. Do you think you could fit 2 harley's in there? Ours are NOT the big touring bikes, they're both Dyna, maybe you are familiar with them Larger than a sportster and much smaller than touring bikes. I really like how the dining in the rear makes it seem more like a travel trailer than just a garage with added amenities
