Scott, Brandon, Rob, Matt, Billy while these videos are entertaining for us, again the utmost respect for the grueling grind you just went through at Ouachita. Temps in the mid 90s with high humidity and dew points (the actual readings you go by to determine heat indices) so terribly high that the old guys like me stay close to air conditioning.
Matt, good lesson for all. The new minn kota props normally come with a pin wrapped up and it's easy to misplace. I keep my extra pins (I bought the little kit you can order with two pins and a plastic nut) in a ziplock freezer bag next to the prop under my boat seat. Also when I bought the boat (used) the previous owner had a teflon nut (from the hardware store) on it already that will not back off and also some clown can't walk up to your boat and loosen it for giggles. I'm keeping that style of nut on there. Also beware and don't do like I did, and assume the same looking prop fits when you buy one at the store. The prop was identical with the exception of the diameter of the hole the prop shaft goes through. Minn Kota has several props and you have to make certain to get the one for your model number.

Hey scott your the man. Your by far my favorite you do a great job and seem genuine. A lot of people in your shoes let money effect the way they look at and treat others. It always sucks when you lose any part to your drive systems. but in this case, thankfully this happened on a practice and you had a fellow tournament acquaintance was in the area to help you out. it would be the ultimate nightmare during the tournament on the same scale when you lost your lower drive unit on Harris Lake

Was out on the water as marshal on day 1 and 2. If people think it was rough at practice, it was much worse those first two days of the cup.
