I like to use a popper style topwater, like the Rico Pop, and soft plastics, like the crawworm, senko style worm, or mag finesse type worms. Those probably get 95% of my bass I catch in ponds. I do occasionally use small hard jerkbaits, small squarebills, small finesse jigs, depending on how much I know about that particular pond.

My favorite bank fishing lure is the Stanley Jigs Top Toad with a weightless frog hook. I've gotten great fish (fishbrain mathewburch) on it. 8 lbs 15 oz and a 9 lbs 10 oz. It's a great topwater dinner bell.

Love me the Yoto Worm from 10, 000 fish! That thing is versatile and just slays! Drop shot, swim bait, Texas rig, it does it all and does it good

Thanks for all the great tips Scott, that mondo worm is the deal right there! I ve also caught a few toads on that bandito bug! Thanks again!

The bandito bug has been without a doubt the most productive bank fishing lure I've used in a long time here in SE PA. So, thanks for that!
