I take these lucky guys down to the everglades to catch the most bass they have ever caught! Evinrude - Soldier: I will go through flipping docks on Watts Bar Lake and Chicamagua. When the flip bite is tough I found that if I mix colors I get them to bite. I will put a blue/black crawl on a green pumpkin jig or a Bama crawl or sun perch crawl on a PB&J jig. Im not sure what it looks like underwater but the mix n match does work.

On the color deal. Perfect example, I fished a big tourney on grand lake in Oklahoma. Water was high n muddy. Went 3 days of practice with a few decent fish off a little 100yard stretch of flooded willows, throwing a green pumpkin blue jig. By tourney day we figured out pb&j was the color n won 25k bc of it. COLOR MATTERS

Love the videos Scott! My wife and I are coming down to Okeechobee for the first time in 2 weeks and staying right at Roland's Marina to hopefully catch a couple giants. Looking forward to visiting your stomping grounds!

I can remember watching your dad, and Jimmy Houston fishing down there (on tv) and it seemed like they were catchin nothing but 8+ lbers. Was that just editing or has the population of hawgs been depleted?

Live in MS but work in Miami Coral Springs but when coming back i fish those public pull offs and caught a 7 1/2# largemouth last year off that same ramp rea.

my dad caught about every bass in the lake about 3 years ago on a black and blue, but the last 2 have been all about green pumpkin or peanut butter

Hey Scott. Why don't you be the first to install a live well up front? Less moving around I would think stay compact more cast.
