Rick Hindchcliffe (below) is dead right. I KNOW. As a kid, I over exposed myself to the sun way too much. We didn't know better, but now we do, and so do you Scott. If I didn't care about you and others like us, I would not comment but I have had THREE melanoma surgeries and I have spent 17 hours on the operating table, having way too much of my head and neck removed. That doesn't include the time with radiation treatments or reconstructive surgery to keep me looking like the handsome devil that I am. (actually very skilled surgeons. I suspect that you don't like to wear sun screen because you don't like the way it feels. Neither do I, but I GUARANTEE YOU, you will like the way a melanoma surgery and the radiation that may follow feels, a Hell of a lot less. Tips: find a product that you like the best or hate less than the others. I never buy less than 80 SPF (less than 80 is a joke) and I prefer 100 SPF. It also needs to be reapplied during the day every few hours. IO keep a small bottle of biodegradable hand soap on board my little tub, so I can wash my hands off after applying. Any yes, I wear open finger fishing gloves for hand protection The products marketed for children have far less tendency to make your eyes burn. I hate that pat the most! Also, and VERY IMPORTANT, examine the package or bottle and look for an expiration date. You will be amazed at how many bottles on the shelf are expired and weill not protect properly. Yes, it does have a shelf life. If there is no expiration date on the packagiong, either ask the druggist. why not? or just find a product that does. Sorry to be lengthy, but this conversation is worth having. Lots of people love you Scott, especially those two pretty little girls of yours and your lovely wife. Do it for them, if you won't do it for yourself. Does it mater that much? Ask you daughters if they want you to acquire the most deadly form of skin cancer. See what they tell you. Off my soap box now. Tight lines.

Ok, so i got a couple of points to make. I was so surprised when you left Toho after catching a huge bag on Day 1. You left great water, and chased EVERYONE else else to gorilla fish in the shallow area of Kissimmee. I could not understand why you deviated from good water and chased everyone else. 2nd and more importantly, Ive watched everyone of your videos and BY FAR the most enjoyable videos of when your out with the family and friends just enjoying yourself. You're are a completely different person on tournament days. WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO GET STRESSED ABOUT? You have an awesome family, supportive fans and a great father. Enjoy yourself. Win, Lose or draw your an incredibly successful angler and may people look up to you. You've got enough money in the bank that you don't have much to worry about. The best and most precious thing is your health and that of your family. Everything else is small potatoes. Let one of your kids get sick and all that stuff your chasing disappears. remember to have fun Scott.

I'm hoping to get out to the Indy Boat Sport & Travel show on Sunday. Was planning on Saturday but, even though it is supposed to be raining, the temps are going to be up. My son called and said we are going fishing, so. I'm going fishing
