Croppie fishing 101: Croppie fishing requires a bobber a sinker and a hook. Then you put a worm on the hook and put it in the water and your done. Outside of worms you use small spinners. The type that you use for trout. Something like a rooster tail is just fine. You can use a little beetle spinner too. Anything under 3 inches long is just fine. Croppie sit anywhere from 2-10 feet under the water. So, setup your bobber and hook to be anywhere from 2-5 feet deep (some times up to 7 feet deep) and the fish will come to it even if they are a few feet lower than the worm. That is all there is to it for basic simple croppie fishing.

Ya'll bought kids poles and were shocked you didn't catch a boat load. I'm shocked ya'll caught two on those POCs. Crappie fishing is easy if you have the right rigs. Light tackle with Crappie magnate jigs and a minnow, around stumps or grass, 5-10 feet depth. Regardless I love to watch the adventures. Keep them coming.

I'm not a crappie expert but I believe you were fishing the wrong places if the water is cold. Probably better offshore around deep structure since you actually have a boat and can go there. I never have the opportunity to boat fish so can't say for sure. I kind of feel bad for you

I tie some hand tied jigs and can send some if yall wanna do a vertical jigging challenge for crappie. my jigs are a lil different than Ive seen other people tying and Ive done very well with them catching crappie, bass, perch, and even catfish here in Texas

You boys bring ya boat up to north Alabama and I'll show you real crappie fish'n then you can decide if its crap fishing or not. But y'all did not even pit in enough effort to make a call come on try a little harder.

Awesome video! Wouldnt enjoy or know how to crappie fish either! So dont understand the live bait fishing style, and how that is fun unless you have a grill and some alcohol on the boat to pass the time!

Bobber stop ya jackwagons!
Whenever I am having a bad day on the water, I just think about Billy and Brandon and how much they suck at fishing. Makes me feel better about myself.

Maybe hire a guide next time. I'm sure a local guide would have cut you a deal just for the exposure and then you guys could have had a decent video. Instead of this stink fest.
