Love watching your vids buddy. Biggest for me was on a small lake in NC called lake waccamaw. Weighed in a 8. 6 caught on a man made brushpile in about 8ft of water. Me and my wife ended up winning that day. That win got my wife to agree to me buying a full size bass boat. Won that day out if a 16ft monarch with a 40hp force on it. lol. live well was to small so we used a cooler I rigged with an aerator. I used yhe coller to roll my fish to the scales since it had wheels. Everyone laughed till we weighed our 5. Have those trophy mounted in my wall. lol

Go turn it around I hope you have an awesome tournament stay relax and just fish don t put more pressure on your self than you already have.
I learned a lot this weekend I went to Lake Guntersville as a Marshall and man that was an awesome learning experience. I was with Dylan Hays on Saturday and I loved learning from him he s an awesome ledge fisherman.

Love your stuff, learned so much watching you, am doing the jack pot and small tournaments here in central OK. Am needing a flipping rod, thinking 7. 1 heavy at least a 7: 1 reel. also have trouble getting a good flip distance wise, are the reels sets up to free spool and controlled with the thumb?

Is his new nickname going to be 'one ounce Matt'? For the rest of 2022? I hope you don't give poor auld Matt, a hard time (as in don't mention the one ounce thing. Like the one ounce gorilla in the room. For the rest of the year.

I learned my lesson long ago on a 7 lber. about grabbing the line even though it's like instinct just to try and control the fish. You had that Christmas Story moment like Ralphy when he spilled the lug nuts.

Today, my BASS club tournament, caught a 5. 7lb, and a 7. 2lb, both on Live Target Poppin Frog. Had a 8. 5+lb spit frog 5 feet from boat also. I almost cried. We put in at J&S Fish Camp!

Hey Scott, My biggest was 7lb 13oz. I was going to have it mounted but when I got back from vacation, the breaker tripped and I lost everything in the freezer including the fish.
