Intel's Arc GPUs are finally beginning to ship, as is its XeSS competitor to DLSS and FSR, and it's also bringing out the 12900KS to fight AMD's Zen 3D 5800X3D CPU. More news as well. abstrktionLair: Anybody know which laptops at the show have USB 4? All I've seen is Intel stuff with thunderbolt and AMD machines that still have USB 3.2 and HDMI 2.0 despite Ryzen 6000 mobile and RDNA2 supporting 4 and 2.1 respectively.

imagine a war-torn battle field, smoldering e-waste liters the the landscape, the two sides at a stalemate waiting for parts availability, one side with a chartreuse(green) flag with a G on it the other side with a chartreuse(red) flag with a G on it, warring over the proper pronunciation of that letter

I really find it kind of funny all the focus on AIOs in the market now despite CPUs being fairly easy to cool (so long as it's not Intel's HEDTs), meanwhile Ampere GPUs are barfing out 4x the heat and they get deafening air coolers. Really not regretting going custom water cooling over the break

Not sure if it s ever been mentioned but your writing for the show is impressive. You are exceptionally skilled at the gift of gab in a informative, educational, humorous way. It s what keeps me coming back. Plus it s nice to hear your subtle roasting of some of these companies.

if we are lucky the miners and scalpers will either turn to these or there will actually have stock for pc gamers at decent prices forcing amd and nvidia to finally come up with another way to get cards into hands of pc gamers instead of miners and scalpers

Really looking forward to seeing how the 5800X3D turns out and wether it s worth upgrading from a 3900X on X470 Crosshair hero Vii board to the new cpu on a Dark Viii Hero board as per your sponsor, that board looks awesome.

This could have been a lot cooler... intended pun.. not even a pun... but also totally a pun... however.. blown opertuntunity here is it? Hard to blow through solid glass... so perhaps it wasn't a blown opertuntunity .

still waiting for a decent eGPU case that's not unnecessary bulky. This one looked actually interesting until the no integrated power supply part... Same size but with power supply, come one, you can do it.

Jarrod's Tech did a video on a Chinese laptop manufacturer who made watercooling ports and an external watercooling system that requires draining when traveling with the laptop.
