We're very excited to announce our new GN Tear-Down Toolkit! GN has been working on manufacturing and designing this product for over a year now. Buy the GN toolkit here: (if you buy a signed toolkit, there's a chance it will also be one of the 50 numbered ones. Full details on the website linked above! We'll recap some basics below: We invested a lot of thought, time, money, and experience into designing and developing this toolkit. Tools are used in the GN lab every single day, so we wanted to build tools in the way we like them: Well-balanced in weight, using strong metals, and with a driver shaft that gives some torque for tighter screws. Each of the tool types is detailed below: - Phillips PH1 - Phillips PH0 - Phillips PH00 - Phillips PH000 - Custom Hex Head 5. 0mm (ground-down exterior for capacitor clearance) - Custom Hex Head 4. 0mm (ground-down exterior for capacitor clearance) - Allen 1. 5mm - Allen 2. 0mm - Allen 2. 5mm - Torx 6 The tool bag is also custom-stitched and made for GN, including a zipper pocket with some cards providing guidance on common video card disassembly procedures. The zipper pocket is also useful for holding all those screws you forgot to put back in that one time, extra thermal pads, or tubes for thermal paste. The driver heads are pre-magnetized on 8 of the 10 screwdrivers, ensuring that the screws follow the screwdriver once untightened from their threads. The other 2 unmagnetized drivers are the Hex 4. 0 and 5. 0 heads, which we've purposefully left unmagnetized so that screws don't get stuck in the hex heads. We also ground-down the outside of the hex head for better clearance of small capacitors or other components. Learn more on the product page linked above!

Sorry, but not too interested. I commend you though on continuing to make more useful products rather than just aesthetic merchandise! I have all of these parts as individual separate heads that I can slot into 1 tool handle. I have a magnetizing/ demagnetizing 3 part already, so I don't really need one. Personally considering an electric screwdriver I saw on a video that was the same size as a regular screwdriver and had a light for deep screws. That seems neat. The idea of making heads for specific outer diameter sizes is kind of neat. I wonder if you could make like a torque specific phillips head screwdriver or wrench for mounting air or water cooler screws. There is a market for radio frequency (RF) torque wrenches where the head will bend temporarily once enough pressure has been applied too not damage the metal fastening nut for the RF measurement device. Not sure how your audience would receive them, but it would be neat to see!

0: 50 we used a thicker driver shaft tapered at the end to strengthen the tool while still providing higher torque I'm confused as to how that will provide more torque. Having a wider diameter handle will definitely provide more torque for a given hand force, but I'm not convinced this will. Overall, absolutely awesome tool kit, and great price as well. Having those narrow hex drivers is excellent and oft overlooked. When I did computer hardware repair as my full time job I had to get specialty hex drivers from Germany. The rounded ends also look like they're pretty good because they can let you put force on it for overtorqued screws and will also let you rotate it against your palm to get screws in/out faster. It has upsides and downsides vs a rotating end, but I think those are better on precision screwdriver kits than large kits like this one. Yep, this is well thought out, and I quite like it I think I'll pick one up.

these look like some of the snap on handles i have, what mfg produced these for you? i love my snap on screwdrivers, also you should offer a ratcheting screwdriver like they do, some have different legnth shafts that can be switched along with interchangeable bits if you are getting into this as sales you know everyone will buy ratcheting screwdrivers. just sayin if they arent the cheap dollar store screw drivers they will sell like hotcakes when they were popular

This kit pales in comparison with the majesty that is the Verge's Toolkit, our Swiss Army Knife's come with EVERYTHING here but also includes, - Anti Static Knife - Thermal lubricant - Tweezers - And confidence. For high thermal capacity, our knives are water cooled, and if you order now, we have a limited edition N. Patel Edition that is RGB, and comes with a certificate of authenticity that enables you go 10 rounds on the four factors.

That's just mean. How do you expect any other tool manufacturers to stay in business and keep selling tool kits containing a few tools you need with a bunch you don't when this tool kit is so well thought out to include everything you need and nothing you don't? This is also going to put tool box makers out of business because now I'm not going to have to store 75 tools I never use with the 7 I always use?

chrome vanadium isnt the material i would have chosen for screwdriver tips. cheap chinese tools maybe, but nothing with my name on it. even just d2 steel would be better. i cant count the number of ph00 screwdrivers i've twisted or bent the tips on to the point they are unusable. i might just have to custom order me a ph00 screwdriver made from some super hard steel to get away from all the chinesium.

Until we can independently verify the OUT OF THE BOX THERMALS of the tools to ensure they fall within expected parameters as to not damage components on computer PCBs. I would strongly recommend everyone to not purchase these tools. Also, When can we expect a drop test from Linus to ensure a Long Service Life? Unless these tests are carried out, all claims are simply manufactured marketing fluff!

the excuse for the hex-drivers not being premagnetized is pathetically nonsensical. unless you manage to get some screw, that is much too small for this tool anyway, stuck upside down in there which should be rightfully punished this way (it's like delivering a Mustang limited to 5mph because otherwise you could run it into a crowd killing people) obviously a cost saving measure

just got a 2080 ti yesterday, been playing games no problems, then assasins creed odyssey crashed on me mid fight, and now will not load at all when I try to launch, it goes to launch and then it acts like my hdmi is disconnected, basically crashes my pc, 2700x 750w gold evga psu, 32 gb ram, x62 kraken cpu cooler, why is this happening GN help me please!

That looks like a nice kit. For a version 2, I think you should consider adding a long straight-nose and bent-nose pliers. I've found them to be particularly useful for getting small screws that fall down into the cracks and crevices of my case. Also, have you looked at making a flexible light with a magnetic base?
