I actually like the design of the Carrara and it would fit very nicely into my white Phanteks Eclipse P600s (a case GN didn't want to test...) even though my air cooler and the big graphics card would prevent me from seeing much of the board anyway...
Much more importantly, the new Taichi boards don't have 10 gig LAN ports like the older X470 Taichi so no purchase from me.
And I also don't want a first gen AM5 board/CPU combo so no real loss.

I hope you read this.
I have been dreaming of doing DIY Refridgerator pc build. Window air conditioners can be hacked with a commercial product coolbot
Or you can just use a mechanical thermostat wired yourself. Then build an insulated box around the air conditioner in the window and put your test bench inside.
The question I have is, what cpu cooler would work best? I am thinking Noctua would still kill it.

it's funny how companies do this naming thing...for all intents and purposes the 4090/3090 is/are the 4080/3080 the top of the line card simply launches first for them...later the 90 series comes out after binning or whatever... same when amd released the 5700 xt it was their best card(arguable) for that lineup but it was not so great so the gave it the moniker from a lower end card...meh.

Would have bought 1630 if it were available a month ago. Got 1650 to have a second GPU in my system. (Effective multiseat requires each seat to have a separate GPU.) The available options were either risk driver compatibility issues by having two different drivers on the system, or get 1050 for 10% less.) 1630 would have been perfect, same generation drivers with far lower price.

Steve,
I really really love you hold company accountable for slacking. There is no excuse for these large companies making mistakes besides rushing and not doing due diligence. Holding people accountable in life is important and you do a fantastic service for the gaming community pointing out every flaw you notice.

Thank you. I absolutely enjoyed the video whence you purchased a fan a new build, I keep rewinding and watching that one as it is very much welcomed and appreciated. Seems you have great intentions, and actually are a real down to earth man. A friendly guy as sorts, A very rare and noble trait.
Any rate, Thank You.

G'day Steve,
I think RX6400 is going to be closest competition for the GTX1630, considering it has the same 64bit MemBus it will be interesting to see the PCIe Lane Configuration & if it cops the same DOA review comments from most reviewers.
Do you know if NZXT stuck with ASRock for their 'New' Mother boards?

amd and nvidia not only competing to be the best, they also trying to be the worst! amd's contender was a rx 6500xt which was worse than the rx 5500xt. That was their upgrade backwards. Now Nvidia trying to fight back with a gtx 1630, which is replacing the gtx 1050ti and somehow ends up worse than it.

I need to say userbenchmark is actually quite more useful than you think. I know its ranking isn't very convincible, but it's really useful when you start comparing the sub scores.
(At least for GPUs. For CPUs they don't test the score under long-term stress so it is kinda biased.)
